When you need a sub
If people will dance, or the music is hip-hop, EDM or anything with a kick drum you want to feel, a sub makes the difference. For speeches and background music, the PA alone is enough.
Works with the PA or your own speakers
The KS118 has XLR inputs and outputs, so it sits between the mixer and the speakers. It pairs with the 15" PA system, or with any powered speakers you already own.

It weighs about 104 lb. For pickup, bring an SUV or truck and a second person. Or choose delivery (from $40) or delivery with setup (+$100) and I handle it.

Subwoofer rental questions
Can I rent just the subwoofer?
Yes. It is $175/day on its own, or the same price added to the PA.
Will it work with my speakers?
If your speakers take an XLR line input, yes. Run the mixer into the sub, then the sub out to your speakers.
Will it fit in my car?
It is a large 18" cabinet of about 104 lb. Most SUVs and pickups work; most sedans do not. Delivery is the easy option.
