The Yamaha MG10XU gives you mic inputs, line inputs, built-in effects, and a USB connection, so you can run vocals, an acoustic guitar with a DI box, and a laptop at the same time. Bring your own cables for instruments and DJ gear.
Rehearsals and small gigs
Cheaper than a rehearsal-room rental and better than a guitar amp for vocals.
Know what you need
If your show needs subwoofers, more mics, or in-ear monitors, this is not the right package. Ask me what is available, and I will tell you straight if you need a bigger system from someone else.
Before you book
- Make a list of every input: vocal mics, instruments, laptop or controller.
- Bring your own DI boxes, instrument cables, and DJ controller.
- Check that your controller outputs match the mixer inputs (RCA, 1/4", or XLR).
- Ask about a second mic if you have multiple vocalists.
- Plan a sound check at the venue before the crowd arrives.

DJs & Live Music rental questions
Can I run a DJ controller through it?
Yes. Most controllers connect to the mixer by RCA, 1/4", or XLR outputs. Bring the right cables for your gear.
Can I plug in an acoustic guitar?
Yes, ideally through a DI box, or by miking it. DI boxes are not included, so bring your own.
Do the speakers work as monitors?
They are built as main speakers, but you can angle them back toward the performers on their stands. Dedicated stage monitors are not part of this package.
