What you need to bring
A laptop with rekordbox installed and your music library on it, plus your own headphones. The controller does the mixing; the laptop runs the software.
It needs speakers
A controller alone makes no sound in the room. Rent it with the PA system ($200/day), or get the full DJ package with the PA and the 18" sub for $475/day. If the venue already has a sound system, the DDJ-RX connects with XLR or RCA.
Who rents it
DJs whose own controller is in the shop, people trying out a four-channel setup before buying, and parties where a friend is DJing.

DJ controller rental questions
Does it work with Serato?
The DDJ-RX is built for rekordbox. If you use other software, text me before booking.
Is a laptop included?
No. Bring a laptop with rekordbox and your music.
Can I plug a microphone into it?
Yes. It has two mic inputs, so you can talk over the music without a separate mixer.
